05:03 PM ET 11.27 | Although his comments may not be the consensus around the league, Detroit Lions head coach Jim Schwartz went on a local radio station on Tuesday to confirm that Ndamukong Suh's Thanksgiving kicking incident is still a non-issue in his mind. "There???s nothing to address," Schwartz said, as reported by CBS Detroit. "It didn???t warrant any kind of suspension." While he did not actually see the play live, Schwartz reviewed the tape numerous times after the game and immediately came to the conclusion that his star defensive tackle did not purposefully commit a malicious act. "There is going to be a camera on him on every play," Schwartz said. "His head was looped in another direction, there???s really no reason for people to believe (it was intentional.)"

If coach Hairbag doesn't shake his hand quite right, that is an earth-shattering problem. But if one of his guys kicks the other team's QB in the nuts, it's no big deal.
I suggest that every game begin with a ceremonial nut-kicking; the opposing coach gets a free shot at Schwartz' nuts. And to make sure he isn't wearing a cup, RuPaul will do the pre-game inspection.

I'm a moderately old farquhar so I've seen many. Everybody named so far.
And I've defended similar in hockey.
But Detroit is a punk team. They walk a fine line.

There is a fine line between tough guys and a cheap shot artist. Suh was lucky he wasn't also flagged for pulling Schaub backwards with his legs being caught underneath after Schaub threw the touchdown pass.
