Cincinnati, UConn still on ACC radar

08:18 AM ET 11.28 | The Atlantic Coast Conference presidents and chancellors have voted to expand their ranks, likely to include Louisville. North Carolina athletic director Bubba Cunningham said Tuesday that the league's presidents would consider Louisville, UConn and Cincinnati for membership. ... Sources said there is a sense among league presidents that the ACC will vote to add only one member because the remaining two Big East schools have no other options and the ACC could get them later on if the ACC lost any other schools. All three schools have made it no secret that they want to leave the Big East for the ACC. Cincinnati even made a strong push to gain admittance to the ACC with a campaign about why the school is a more viable option than UConn and Louisville.

Did you guys read the whole article, it does not bode well for them two for what they are thought of, it said they were not as hot sought after and they could pick them up at any time they wanted.

Adding those 3 schools will make the B1G/ACC challenge more of a challenge.

Being an SEC guy and from Ohio (figure that one out), I would love to see Cinci join the SEC. They're only 90 miles from Lexington, so it's not THAT much of a stretch. I can only imagine what kind of fear that would put into OSU and the Big <fill in the blank>. For that matter, I would have loved to have seen Louisville and Cinci both join the SEC and make it 16 teams.

Yeah, but they are smart girls and the purses ( TV sets ) are fat. You just have to know how to get the money. Delaney and BTN will make those darlings earn their way.

I don't think the ACC affiliation makes that big a difference in Strong's mind.
He's loyal to UL because they were the only school to offer a head coach job. But, if someone with deep pockets and a good recruiting base comes calling, he may go.
