10:57 AM ET 11.28 | Today in nonsensical coaching rumors: Jeff Fisher to Auburn. Local news stations started picking up the rumors earlier this week, connecting the St. Louis Rams head coach to the SEC school where his son plays. It's one of those rumors that you can go ahead and write off. Fisher is in the first year of a five-year, $35 million deal to coach the Rams. He's never coached anywhere other than the NFL, and has a pretty sweet set up in St. Louis with a heaping helping of draft picks to build a winning team.

This is about as likely as the Rams going to playoffs, the previous Jeff Fisher thread.

The guy has 35 million coming his way? That is even too rich for college football.

So if this rumor or story is so absurd then why did you post it.

Because it's a pretty good picture of Fisher, and people are probably pretty tired by now of seeing the Harbaughs all the time.

Great picture. It looks like he's rehearsing for a summer stock performance of "Man of La Mancha."
To dream the impossible dream,
To fight with the turf 'neath my toe,
To try past the 2-minute warning,
To rush, where the brave dare to throw....
