11:03 AM ET 11.28 | Ever since Mike D'Antoni took over in Los Angeles, rumors have been swirling about a possible Pau Gasol trade. Since that time there has been a ton of speculation that Gasol could be headed to the Big Apple in exchange for Amar'e Stoudemire. Steve Kyler of Hoopsworld touches on the speculation that Gasol and Stoudemire could be trading places, but I'm here to tell you just exactly how much of a chance a deal like this could get done. No chance. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Not happening.

Stat is a overpriced seemingly untradeable fraud and it would do us wonders to get rid of his bum ****. I think Gaso would be perfect for us, it would otherwise rejuvinate his career. Dumbtoni however is to dumb to recognize that this trade would be benefiting of both teams. That is exactly why Dumbtoni was the wrong guy for the Lakers job and Jackson was the right guy. Jackson would have the Lakers playing championship competitive basketball. Just shows you how dumb Jerry Jones Jr. (Jimmy boy Buss) is. After all, 2-3 is just a game better than 1-4, no real difference here!

I wouldn't call STAT a fraud. We knew of his injury propensity before we signed him. He's played well and given us his best when healthy. The firegate incident in Miami was bad judgement on his part but then again anyone playing with Melo who doesn't pass the ball will be frustrated.

Maybe when he gets back and runs the second unit he'll have his passion back and ask to be traded to a team where all the players share the ball... if any team's willing to take his contract.

Trading Places Is Not The Answer, Bros.

This trade scenario was a NY pipe dream. Amare is just too expensive, always injured and sometimes a head case like the incident with his hand. No thanks. Lakers need to get athletic and young. Amare is not the answer.

That might actually work for both teams.
