04:38 PM ET 11.28 | While LSU Tigers head coach Les Miles was in the thick of coaching rumors that linked him to the SEC rival Arkansas Razorbacks head coaching vacancy, the university announced today that Miles will not be going anywhere. LSU Vice Chancellor and Director of Athletics Joe Alleva let it be known that Miles will receive a contract extension and pay raise following the team's bowl game appearance. The exact figures of the deal are still being negotiated and then will be subject to review by the LSU Board of Supervisors."Les Miles is one of the premier coaches in the country and has LSU in contention for championships year in and year out," Alleva said. "Only two coaches in the 119-year history of LSU football have coached as many years at this school and only one has won more games. Les Miles has made a commitment to LSU and LSU is solidifying its commitment to Les Miles."

Woo Pig, Sooey. How's that feel, Amoral Piglets? Your charms recognized but spurned? And for the favors of a first cousin?

As I said yesterday, this was all about Beamerball, contract-style.

His agent floated out some rumors, and parlayed it into a pay raise and contract extension. The Hat wasn't going anywhere.

Remember how a lot of Michigan fans were clamoring for this guy....twice, to become the head coach.

Still feel that way now that he has used two other programs to extend and increase his contract.

No one could figure out why Lloyd Carr would politic against the hiring of this guy. Well now we know. Miles is a ****!!!!!

As I have assumed, Les Timex had pictures of our AD in a compromising position with a sorted grouping of farm animals from their stint together in Michigan.

Les saved said onformation untill the perfect time to play the advantage for the maximum personal gain, which happened to be this contract extension time.

It was a game of highstakes poker, and many here in Pigville were very concerned LUS would call our bluff. THANK YOU LUS for blinking first in this game of chicken

So what you are saying is that the people in Arky would be offended that their AD was doing lewd acts with Miles and farm animals but the LSU fans would not care if their coach were doing the same? :-)
