Marcus Witherspoon, a Michigan commitment and the nation's No. 20 ranked linebacker according to Rivals.com, might not end up in Ann Arbor after all. Witherspoon told the Philadelphia Inquirer early Monday night that he would attend Michigan, Tennessee or Rutgers. Witherspoon made an oral commitment to Michigan before the season. But when Wolverines coach Lloyd Carr resigned in November, Witherspoon started to have second thoughts.

Why not just have one story that says that all former UM recruits may reconsider their commitment... Every new person that visits another campus is a big story... it really shouldn't be. Obviously people are all going to give it a second thought, you basically commit to a coach, so it makes sense. If they leave, then let me know..

I don't follow, are they not going to need linebackers in RR's new spread OFFENSE? Kid should just go to UM.

And a kid should be able to change his mind due to a coaching change but not if the coach stays and he's verbally committed and decides to go elsewhere, his word to me means nothing when they do that

Watch for a kid named Adrian Robinson-this kid is the real deal, played at Harrisburg High School. Terrell Pryor was great to watch in high school but let me tell you the best kid I saw on defense in Pa. was Adrian Robinson. I saw him actually pick up a quarterback and slam him to the ground-like he was a little kid-it took ten minutes to get the kid off the field-scary player. The quarterback played on Chad Hennes old high school team(Wilson High).

I get SOOOOOOOOO SICK of these little cry babies.
I'm talking about the high school kids!

I think the ncaa should have an early signing date say in Aug or Sep (like some coaches want) that way kids who REALLY want to sign with team X can. Then all the "babies" can eat up the lime light till Feb.
