Which outcome is worse for the Cowboys?

01:22 AM ET 11.29 | With the playoffs only five weeks away, there are many playoff scenarios taking place. For the Dallas Cowboys to make the playoffs, they will more than likely have to win out, or lose no more than one of their next five games. Last year, a 9-7 team won the NFC East and won a momentum wave all the way to the Super Bowl. This was the worst thing that could have happened for the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys can beat any team on any given day, if they show up. The only loss that was completely out of control was the Monday night debacle against the Bears.

The worst outcome would be to - somehow - slide into playoffs. Without a doubt, it would mean that some of the core issues of this team would not be addressed (and get glossed over), yet again.
However, given the recent track record of the "head puppeteer", that will probably happen regardless of the seasons outcome.

** Which outcome is worse for the Cowboys?
Losing the Cowboys Cheerleaders to the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Dallas continuing to keep Romo as our starting QB IMO.

Keep Witten. Everybody else on that offense should be playing for their jobs at this point.

100% correct.
I want them to win out but a failry large part of me wants complete dissarray and an end to the reign of Garrett and Ryan.
It's the only way to get the overhaul that is required.

The worst outcome for the Cowboys has already happened, and it has nothing to do with their won-loss record or chances for the playoffs. As long a Jerry Jones continues to make all the major personell decisions for the franchise, the situation will not change.

nice.... something related to the cowboys to smile about.
i'd much rather see them lose out and make MAJOR changes than slide in the playoffs and get killed by whoever they play. any progress like a playoff game will give JJ false hope (as if he doesn't already have enough) and nothing will change. if we lose out garrett is gone..... he may be gone if we lose just a few more - which is very likely.

Not a fan but have given Romo a lot of rope not pinning all the problems on him until lately. He just isn't any good. This team needs a QB that can pass and run. Romo has had his chance. They've done there best to blame everyone but him but it keeps coming around to his performance not getting it done.

Jones' three top issues: getting a big bowl game for the Jones Dome; evaluating new color schemes for Cowboys' uniforms; and finding a more consistent eyeglass wiper.

Cowboys must lose out, ditch Garrett for Payton, and see what they can get from the draft. More of the same will result in more of the same.
