08:07 AM ET 11.29 | Credit Amar'e Stoudemire for willing to be a team player. [Stoudemire] would accept a role as the New York Knicks' sixth man if asked, two sources with knowledge of Stoudemire's thinking told ESPNNewYork.com. "All he cares about right now is helping the team and winning," said one source, who has been around Stoudemire regularly in recent weeks. "He'd be fine with coming off the bench if that's what they want." Stoudemire hasn't spoken with reporters since suffering a left knee injury in the preseason. He's been rehabilitating his knee following arthroscopic surgery for the past four weeks and is expected to miss at least another two weeks. There has been speculation about what role Stoudemire will play once he returns.

Now here comes the parade of perrenial Knicks haters tellin us how Stat's a team player and good for him to take this approach. Please stop right there! Stat has to accept coming off the bench, no real delima there. He has largely been of now help during the playoffs every year and injuries are a constant with him. The Knicks are moving on with or hopefully without his ****. We can win and are winning. As much as you suckers hate Melo for any and everything, he's forefillin his contract by being there every playoff series and every game. You never have to worry about him showing up to play. Last night for the second time this year we had to hold him out in the 4th qtr because he's performed so well, both times he had splendid performances. You hated on Lebron suckers and you continue to hate on Melo. Lebron gotcha shutty and so will Melo. We're all the talk about we can't do well without Lovesanity? His **** is largely none descript and ain't nobody buy in that Rockets Jersey......New York made his bittcch **** busters!
