08:16 AM ET 11.29 | Jon Gruden broke his silence Wednesday, but true clarity on his interest in coaching at Tennesee remains a question. Most national observers believe Gruden will end up in the NFL, which is raising concerns about his role as an impartial media member for the remainder of this season. ... LSU head coach Les Miles said his defensive coordinator John Chavis would be a "very good head coach" and that Tennessee should pursue him. ... Hip hop mogul Luther Campbell, a longtime supporter of Miami (Fla.) football, tweeted the following message without elaboration on Wednesday: "Golden to UT." Miami coach Al Golden, in his second year with the NCAA probation-saddled Hurricanes, is thought to be a candidate Hart might like to talk to.

I always put my faith in the words of rappers and thugs, they know everything!

This guy strikes me as unreliable. I'm waiting for Kim Kardashian's opinion myself.

Al-get out before the hammer comes down!

LSU head coach Les Miles said his defensive coordinator John Chavis would be a "very good head coach"
-------------------------------
That's a tidbit people are overlooking. I believe that Chavis has interviwed for HC positions before but that the rumor is he does very badly in interviews and isn't all that likeable as a person.

No shot in getting Gruden, he has a great job with good pay and no pressure. Hope they get Miami's coach, they would be weak.

Chavis was the yin to Cutcliffe's yang in propelling UTK's success under administrative HC, Fulmer. I've no idea of his suitability to head a football program, but, he is a premier DC.

Hello. My name's Tin Man, and I'm a Tennessee alumnus. I do not want Gruden to lead the Vols football program. Let the NFL Cleveland Browns have him.

kids seem to love playing for him though.

And I always heard he never had any desire to be a head coach.

Why, if you don't mind me asking for details?

There is a lot of smoke around Al Golden to UT. Sounds like a strong possibility.
