Oakland Raiders considering playing Terrelle Pryor

09:31 AM ET 11.29 | The Oakland Raiders have had a horrible 2012-13 NFL campaign and it is about time to start looking toward the future. It all begins at the quarterback position where the team needs to evaluate their potential successors for starting quarterback Carson Palmer, despite Palmer being on pace to break the franchise record for passing yards in a season. Matt Leinart and Terrelle Pryor are the team's backups and it looks like Pryor could be getting some more looks. Raiders head coach Dennis Allen hinted that the team could soon be bringing Pryor off the bench and getting him some game reps. "He's working to get better and he's working to improve. I've seen improvement in Terrelle." said Allen. "He's gotten better as a quarterback. He's continued to work. I don't think any of us feel like he's the finished product, including himself, but he has worked to improve. We got to look at any options. Again, we're all accountable to getting this thing corrected and getting it done right. Players and coaches, we've all got to be held accountable. We've got a standard that we uphold ourselves to and we haven't lived up to that standard yet."
