No Petrino for Colorado

03:53 PM ET 11.29 | Moments after a rumor broke that Colorado was interested in Bobby Petrino for its coaching vacancy, the Buffs' athletic director very strongly shot it down and promised he would not be hiring the former Arkansas coach. Colorado's next hire comes with a bit of baggage already, due to Jon Embree's awkward exit, and hiring a coach like Petrino would only make it worse.

no he wouldnt make it worse, he would make them better. But just about anyone could do that I suppose.

Cokodado is now a Hades hole for coaching. They have no facilities or money and no sugar daddys. People in Denver could give a flip less about the buffs. Not to mention a 50k seat stadium that cant sell tickets to.

This is has a history for lying to anyone and everyone. Good coach, yes, but at what cost

Good point, but don't you think that Chris Petersen would be a better fit in Colorado????

Colorado already tried that with the previous BSU coach.

Mods seem to be sportin' the wood for you, TM. Notice I did use a euphemism. Not that it matters.

Years ago, Mandell's softball team was "Sportin' Wood."

Colorado should sell the farm and hire Chris Peterson.
In five years he could turn the program completely around.
And the Pac12 needs this to happen.
