04:21 PM ET 11.29 | The effort to get an NBA team in Virginia Beach took a major step forward earlier this week. A deal to finance a $350 million project to build a new arena, with an NBA team already in place before the arena is finished, is very much in the works. The latest news: the city has sent a request for $150 million to help with construction and the moving expenses for the team that is relocating. That would likely be the Sacramento Kings, as co-owner George Maloof met with city officials last month. This still has a ways to go, but it's looking more and more like the Kings moving to Virginia Beach is a viable option.

Bad move. Lots of people but how many will pay the ticket price? Owners trying to get a city to give them an arena.
