Greinke meets with Angels rival

08:16 AM ET 11.30 | Right-hander Zack Greinke may find his way back to L.A., just in a different uniform. [Greinke], the best of the free-agent pitcher class, met with Los Angeles Dodgers officials in Los Angeles on Thursday. The Dodgers view Greinke, who pitched for the Milwaukee Brewers and Los Angeles Angels last season, as critical to a pitching staff already headed by left-hander Clayton Kershaw. Greinke, 29, was 15-5 with a 3.48 ERA in 2012. Over the past two seasons, he was 31-11 with a 3.63 ERA. He is consistently among his league's leaders in strikeouts-to-walk ratio. The Texas Rangers, Washington Nationals and Angels also have been tied to Greinke, who is believed to have enjoyed his two months in the L.A. area.

its too tough for the halos, why?? because they are unable to sign greinke can;t even offer him a decent contract thanks to their wrong contract from last season in pujols deal!!!

sometimes the GM could hurt you more than help you, many people thought dipoto was the right general manager but he only deep down the halos franchise into a hole, there is no way or in how this angels would be able to compete from here at to ten years!!!

the angels higher expectations should be meet in the next season, the front office SHOULD focus in rebuiltding their farm system, a key player WHO could give them many prospects in one solo trade should be mike trout!!!!

mike trout its all around the complete player, he hits for power, has tremendous speed, great outfield skills and still develop as his earlier career continues, drives as many runs, he is a totally awesome as a player, any team could give at to 5 top prospects for mike trout!!!

the halos shouls and most follow their new direction, accept the reality that their roster is weak in the rotation, and their farm system is more thin than in any other years,the angels had haven't any top drafts since the draft in mike trout, if not mike trout then WHO the halos should trade??

the angels should trade trumbo for chris archer and james shields, this is a fair trade shields is in his way out in the contract terms, and chris archer is a rookie with plenty potential as a starter!!!

dickey has very little playing time in him at most 2 years left, angels would need at least two top starters to be able to compete next season, can't compete? can't afford the tough high tags in the free agents?? then halos could be looking into a different escenario like focus in the farm system rebuilt give and take trade top players for young top prospects, rebuilt to have players ready in 5 to 6 years from now till then, halos can't act as if they DO have deep farm system because we all know too well, angels are thin every where in their team as in their farm system!!!

best thing to do for halos??? no contracts no long term deals, no greinke in your roster,
but use the wise approach in making business/ trades/trades/trades/ mark trumbo is available/jered weaver is available/ and why not? mike trout is available, could the angels make some noise in the world of sport news?? but farther than just simple trades, this trades would refill their farm system if no anything else!!

when your budget it takes a toll in the cash flow account,when the hard tiimes are difficult to achieve, when there is no light at all, when the hope has faded away,,then halos should use different tactics ,players can come to your team not only by long term contracts rather by trades and smart moves from the top excecutives in any organization!!!
