08:22 AM ET 11.30 | In the midst of a polarizing lockout, a country famous for its neutrality may add one of the best hockey players in the world. While the big money is in Russia and teams there would have no problem paying the outrageous insurance costs, sources say [Sidney Crosby would] likely be targeted in the KHL and the travel conditions are less than ideal with long road trips. Given Crosby's injury history with post-concussion syndrome, Russia may not be worth the risk. That's why you can expect Crosby will likely head to Switzerland. ... Not everybody in Switzerland can afford to sign Crosby, but it's believed Bern, Lugano and Zurich have the financial ability to pay -- or the backing -- what could be more than $200,000 a month in insurance costs.

I am a huge fan of Sid. That being said , with his concussion issues , this is a bad decision. Rest the brain , play NHL next year and years to come.

Even without being a huge fan of Sidney, I am a huge fan of his talent, he needs to rest it up and prepare like everyone else for the next NHL Season, whenever that may be.

Agree 100%. I really don't think he needs the money. Skate with the boys locally to stay in shape. If he needs to stay competitive, we play road hockey here every Saturday with the kids. He's more then welcome to join in.

Spot on, HC. It's not worth it for Sid. A full year of rest could do wonders.
