11:28 AM ET 11.30 | Despite the reports that he would be cut, Oakland Raiders linebacker Rolando McClain will not be released by the team and instead has been suspended for conduct detrimental, according to Jay Glazer of FoxSports.com. McClain, the No. 8 overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, has been held out of Raiders' practices since Tuesday after he went on a Facebook tirade in which he said he wanted to play for a "real team," and posted "Officially no longer an Oakland Raider!!" McClain has since deleted the posts, and the claims he made were denied by the organization. The 23-year-old former star at Alabama has recorded 60 tackles, one sack and one forced fumble this season. Last year, his second in the NFL, McClain posted 99 tackles and five sacks and defended 14 passes.
