01:29 PM ET 11.30 | How close is Amar'e Stoudemire to returning to the court for the New York Knicks? At this point, Christmas is looking to be the most likely date. A source told the New York Post that hopes of Stoudemire returning in mid-December are dwindling, making Christmas a more reasonable target. Stoudemire has not played after undergoing left knee surgery in October. In his absence, the Knicks have gotten off to a 10-4 start, which has them tied with the rival Brooklyn Nets for second in the Eastern Conference.

Hope he doesnt mess things up. He should come off the bench. Our second unit would be the strongest in the NBA

I heard about a possible Gasol for Amare trade. Dont know how true that is but I think it helps both teams. As a Knick fan I'm down

Now we're talking. And then the next reactivation will be Shump. As good as the Knicks have done so far things will only get better.

Don't count on it

If he can play good even coming off the bench, maybe his trade value will go up
