04:07 PM ET 11.30 | Rich Franklin will honor the last fight of his UFC contract, according to his manager JT Stewart. Stewart says Franklin will compete at 185 pounds, but he doesn't have an opponent in mind. The former UFC middleweight champion was knocked out in his last appearance in the Octagon by Cung Le in the main event at UFC: Macao on Nov. 12.

Please hang 'em up Rich. While you still have pretty much all your brain function and you aren't slurring your words. The human brain can only take so many blows- and you don't have anything left to prove. You were a great champion, and a better ambassador of the sport. Hang 'em up - Dana will give you a nice Chuck-like job - and you can still hang around in MMA circles.
