10:39 PM ET 11.30 | North Carolina State defensive back David Amerson entered the 2012-13 college football season as one of the top-rated cornerbacks in the nation. Amerson had received high praise and was even viewed as a potential top 10 pick in the 2013 NFL Draft. This season, Amerson took a step back and highlighted the concerns that scouts had in his game, but that hasn't stopped him from making his next move. Sources tell FanSided.com that Amerson will declare for the 2013 NFL Draft. "He is ready to make the move and there isn't much anyone can do to convince him to stay," one source said. When another source was asked if Amerson was bolting for the NFL they said, "Yeah, he definitely is."

Dude got schooled by the Vols, though.
Granted, it's the NC St offense that should feel embarrassed about the loss to Tennessee, since the UT defense seemed determined this season to make every opposing QB look like a serious Heisman candidate.

Kid must already have his degree.

HAHAHA!! Still hasn't declared his major. Kids like these need to be in a NFL farm system, not taking up space in a collegiate classroom. IMHO

I was there. It was the beginning. A Vol fan had hope, even though the Braying One was showing early signs of not seeing the field, making bad decisions and unfathomably errant throws while under no pressure.
