12:36 PM ET 12.01 | As the North Carolina State Wolfpack continue their search for Tom O'Brien's replacement, they were watching the MAC Championship Game between the Northern Illinois Huskies and Kent State Golden Flashes very closely. Now, it is being reported that the Wolfpack will be turning their attention to the MAC Championship coaches for their next round of interviews. Northern Illinois' Dave Doeren and Kent State's Darrell Hazell are both set to be among the next wave of candidates interviewed for the N.C. State vacancy. The Wolfpack's search for their next head coach took a brief hiatus due to Doeren and Hazell's involvement in the MAC Championship game.
