04:27 PM ET 12.01 | The Kansas City Chiefs have announced that their Week 13 game against the Carolina Panthers will be played as scheduled on Sunday afternoon. The Chiefs and Panthers are set to play at 1 p.m. ET at Arrowhead Stadium, a little more than 24 hours after the horrific murder-suicide involving Jovan Belcher. The Chiefs statement on the decision to proceed as planned: "After discussions between the league office, Head Coach Romeo Crennel and Chiefs team captains, the Chiefs advised the NFL that it will play tomorrow's game vs. the Carolina Panthers at its originally scheduled time."

Wouldn't want anything to get in the way of the NFL machine. Can't lose that $ over real life issues.

I'm more thinking how selfish a man he was to hurt his woman, put his little girl who knows where now, hurt her family, his family, and subject the coaches to see him do that to himself. What a jerk.
