06:45 PM ET 12.02 | For the second time this season, the San Francisco 49ers and St. Louis Rams went to overtime. Unlike their last meeting, however, there wasn't a tie at the end of the extra period, as the Rams defeated the 49ers, 16-13. With the score 10-2 in favor of the 49ers in the fourth quarter, a Janoris Jenkins fumble recovery for a touchdown turned the tide. The Rams converted on the two-point conversion to tie things up at 10, but San Francisco was able to advance down the field on their next drive thanks to a 50-yard run by quarterback Colin Kaepernick. The 49ers knocked in a field goal with a little over a minute remaining, and the Rams quickly responded with no time on the clock on a 53-yard field goal of their own. Neither team was able to get much going in overtime until the Rams took over after a missed field-goal attempt by David Akers. They drove 22 yards, enough for kicker Greg Zuerlein to hit a 54-yard field goal for the victory.

That they do.

Fisher has really done a good job for the Rams this year. If they can win two of the last four games, they will finish at 7-8-1. That is a pretty good season for them. Loved the Rams "throwback" jerseys today!!!

+1. I like the Pats retro-suits as well.

Pittsburgh, though, should consider hiring a new fashion consultant.

I agree those Pittsburgh throwbacks are butt ugly. Loved the jerseys that the PATs and Rams wore in the 2002 Super Bowl.

Fisher has the Rams believing in themselves. The defense is playing hard and Bradford is playing within himself. As a lifelong Ram fan, it is fun to watch

You're right. Fisher has made a huge difference in the confidence and attitude of this Rams team. They likely won't be in the playoffs this year, but I bet they are in the next year or two.

Good point and I have been following the Rams since 1954, when my dad took me to my first Rams/Niner game in L.A. Yes you are right the Rams are playing great defense, all four teams in the NFC West are in the top ten in defense in the NFC!!!!

Yeah it will take the Rams a year or two to make the playoffs, but don't forget, the Rams are the youngest team in the NFL and have some good draft picks coming up.
