08:02 PM ET 12.02 | The Charlie Batch-led Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Baltimore Ravens, 23-20, on Sunday at M&T Bank Field. With three seconds to play, Shaun Suisham nailed a 42-yard field to give the Steelers the win. Charlie Batch, starting at quarterback for injured quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, led the Steelers down the field on the game-winning drive. The Steelers had to come back from a seven-point deficit twice in the second half to be in position for the game-winning field goal. On a day when neither team leaned on its rushing attack, Batch was able to outplay Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco. Batch improved to 6-3 all-time as a starter for the Steelers.

Someone ought to shine a light on the play (or lack thereof) of Flacco. The Ravens have been squeaking by teams they should dominate and losing to the others, and the QB play has been one of the reasons.

Anyone that watch the previous Steeler/Ravens game saw that the Ravens barely beat the Steelers without Ben. The Ravens had no offensive TDs in that game - only TD was a punt return. So really surprised that no confidence by media prior to this game. Batch is a very good QB, and last week was the rust shaking loose - which happens when you get the time with the first team.
The only thing that concerns me is that with a loss, Ben probably sits for the remainder of the season, which lets him fully heal. Now he may feel he has to come bask soon, which could risk his life until the rib has fully healed.

Docs have already said that there is no longer a danger that the injury would be aggravated by another hit, all down to pain management and range of movement now

After that ugly interception in the end zone I thought the Steelers were done, but Charlie came back and set them up.....good game for him.
