08:06 AM ET 12.03 | So much for Omri Casspi being Cleveland's small forward of the future. [Casspi] is now even further down the depth chart and averaging a career-low 13 minutes per game. The forward is a bit confused by this development after believing he had an understanding with [Byron Scott]. "Most of the stuff [coach Scott] told me to work on, I did," Casspi said to HOOPSWORLD. ... The fourth year forward says the contract and playing time issues won't become a distraction, but makes it clear he is now looking forward to testing his market value in free agency and confident his skills will bring in suitors. "I'm looking forward to free agency to see what's going to happen and see what [deals] are out there," Casspi said. "I'm pretty confident where I'm at."

Hello World I'm busting my Teams Balls, but if you pay me a lot of money, I just might play for you, in the mean time if my numbers are down, don't blame me, my coach doesn't want to play me!

Anyone who knows Byron Scott's history, knows that he's going along as usual and reaching his "end of shelf life". Good first year. Good, but slight drop off in year two. End of second and into year three, things start breaking down... Players becoming disenchanted. Half of third year (and maybe) into the fourth and he's not long for his current team. That's how he rolls. Of course, the Cavs not having a winning record may expedite some of this...
In light of the above, I'm feeling Casspi's pain.
