08:19 AM ET 12.03 | Might Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy be trading one shade of orange for another? Several reports, including News Sentinel partner GoVols247, said Gundy met with Tennessee athletic director Dave Hart on Sunday. The Tulsa World reported that Gundy was also likely talking to Arkansas about its open position. "I would never talk about any other jobs or any confirmation of anything that's gone on," Gundy said on a teleconference for Oklahoma State University media late Sunday night. "I would prefer to not talk about anything other than Oklahoma State and the bowl game." ... So why is he looking around? Some have speculated that he has a contentious relationship with OSU athletic director Mike Holder.

I think it would be a good hire. Just one question. Is he a man? How old is he?

I am on board with this.

He needs orange pants now.

He makes a lot of money though. UTk will have to pony up.

It will be interesting to see a booster bidding war between Haslam and Pickens. Billionaire battle extreme!!!!!!

I for one just do not see them getting him away from daddy war bucks. Look elsewhere before all the good ones are gone, Vols.

FWIW, not sure which board to start this on, but BCS bowls/selection SUCKS!!!!!

N. Ill, Wisky, and Louisville in BCS games while OU, UGA, and 10 other better schools are left out. Terrible system...can't change soon enough.

Exactly... LUS should be playing the Orange bowl against FSU....

Funny, all my OU fam is losing it. Only 2 losses to top 5 teams, 10-2 and end up in the Cotton? WTFJJ??

Funny thing is, they weren't nearly as upset last year when Arky was 10-2 with 2 losses to top 5 teams and ended up in the Cotton......wait a minute!!!!

The Cotton Bowl benefits from the BCS. Great pairing.

LSU to the Chick-Fil-A again because the whole system was screwed up due to the selection in the Orange Bowl. Most of the bowls really suck this year. Too many losing teams in their against ranked teams. Nebraska playing Georgia after giving up 70 points in a championship game no less. Just an example.
The LSU-Clemson will be one of the better bowl games this season. Many of the others will not be worth watching by halftime.

If it's a bidding war, the winner will lose. I'd rather Arkie have their minds set on inking another coach if and when UTK is in the nitty gritty with a prospective hire. As for "I'm a Man, spelled G-U-N-D-Y," maybe he's weary of Boone and wants a gig running a program without "interference."

Whoever comes to UTK will have to meet two expectations - compete for the SEC East every year and beat Bama. Tall orders, these days.
