Suh accused of taunting concussed Colts lineman

11:27 AM ET 12.03 | Colts guard Mike McGlynn and Texans quarterback Matt Schaub have something in common, neither player thinks much of Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh. Just a week after Suh's foot "inadvertently" found Schaub's groin, McGlynn is the latest player taking Suh to task for his dirty play. With just under seven minutes to play in the fourth quarter on Sunday, Lions cornerback Don Carey picked off an Andrew Luck pass. Suh hammered Colts tackle Winston Justice on the return, sending the offensive lineman to the ground and forcing him out of the game with a concussion. McGlynn told Bob Kravitz of the Indianapolis Star that Suh and several of his teammates taunted Justice as he laid on the field, dancing and laughing.

Doesn't surprise me - dirty play from a dirty player. How he wasn't suspended for his "inadvertent" kick, especially with his past, is beyond me.
However, McGlynn's comments were spot on: "If that had happened to one of their players, we'd never do something like that. But that's what makes this even sweeter. That's why they lose. I hope they never win another game."

Not that dirty, the QB is usually the one they look to bounce, being fair play after an interception.

December 3, 2012  11:59 AM ET

Suh getting a pass on the suspension last week obviously didn't change him. The guy is just a thug, and a zebra can't change it's stripes.

Someone is going to take out this dude's knee...

And then there will be a whole lot of taunting by 31 other teams in the league.

Karma is a b.i.t.ch.

? taunting a concussed player vs taunting a player who just got the business...how is Suh to know. this is football. taunting occurs on every down. relax.

Maybe once or twice, but how many times can you make excuses for one guy. There's a pattern, and most people are no longer willing to give Suh the benefit of the doubt.

Punk team.

I loved seeing them lose at home in embarrassing fashion once again.

December 3, 2012  12:42 PM ET

Now this is just piling on. I realize Suh brought all of this on himself, but taunting goes on between every single play. Unless Suh knew that Justice was suffering a concussion (doubtful), this is normal trash talk. Mike McGlynn needs to grow a pair.

December 3, 2012  12:44 PM ET

I cannot believe an NFL lineman is whining about taunting. What's next? Complaining that Suh stole his lunch money?

December 3, 2012  01:00 PM ET

We're not talking lunch money here, we're talking careers. This guy is not about winning, he's about hurting people and he needs to be stopped before someone does lose a career (or worse).

McGlynn doesn't need to grow anything. Suh needs to grow up.

Hard to believe the Lions were almost a feel-good story a season-and-a-half ago. All that good will evaporated quickly.

And a little celebrating, too. It doesn't seem like Suh has made a whole lot of friends in the league outside the Lions locker room.

December 3, 2012  01:48 PM ET

Suh is a Bully and someone will call on him and he won't be Prepared!!!

That's the point: you don't know. The guy is laid out on the field. He might've had the wind knocked out of him, his career might've just ended, or anything in between.

Taunting a guy in that situation is a total no-class move. Suh is a punk in a punk organization.

People like this guy never suffer Otis...

I can see someone diving to take out those knees, and fail, then end up helplessly on the ground with Suh towering over him about to administer punishment.

I was one of the people who were really glad to see the Lions playing well again. I enjoyed the way Suh played, and how he could dominate a game. Then last year the team seemed to turned from football players into back-alley muggers and punks, and this year has been downhill from last. I don't know what is going on with that team, but I don't watch them any more. I enjoy reading about how they have thrown away another game they should have won, but I get no pleasure from watching.

December 3, 2012  05:21 PM ET

It's becoming more and more apparent that Suh is a psychopath that the league will have to eventually deal with severely, before he hurts someone permanently, or gets hurt by a deliberate gang tackle by half of an offensive team in a pile.

They could easily be back again next season. They somehow found a way to lose most of the close ones this season
