Yes, here is a summary of the discussion: "Should we think about starting Tim?" "No way." That's it.

I don't see that Happening, but you know Rex!!! McElroy should be da Starter!!!

December 3, 2012  01:56 PM ET

McElroy will start.

REALLY ^^^^^^ who we talkin bout ?

Does it really matter at this point? Unless there is an $$$ incentive clause that Sanchez can reach, and Rex feels sorry for the guy, it really does not matter who starts...

December 3, 2012  02:56 PM ET

But really have the Jets fans not suffered enough. I'm starting to feel sorry for them.

At some point, they need to let Tebow start and see what happens. They've got enough on Sanchez. 2 games each for Tebow and McElroy and they can figure out what they're going to do in the offseason.

ITS TEBOW TIME!!

Silly starting either Tebow or Sanchez. If either gets hurt, their trade value is nil.

The Jets don't seem like the type of organization that figures things out; they seem like the type that stumbles along from day to day, never really noticing what works or what doesn't. I doubt they will think about what to do in the off-season until it is half over.

Sanchez is hurting his trade value by being on the field.

Yeah, that's the bottom line.

December 3, 2012  06:49 PM ET

This is getting sad!

December 3, 2012  08:27 PM ET

I say we get this silly Tebow thing over with...let him start....let him implode...and be done with it already....

Why would anyone trade for either one....????

December 3, 2012  09:01 PM ET

Cut 'em all and start over...can't really be much worse. On the way out take Rex with 'em as well. There's just not anything there to save. Never saw a team so bad from top to bottom.

Tired of the excuse that Sanchez is playing poorly because of Tebow being there. His QB rating (78 vs 71), INTs (13 vs 18), Fumb (10 vs 10), Comp % (56.7 vs 55) for 2011 and now are very close. Sanchez is just a lower end NFL QB.

Tebow may never be a great (or even very good) NFL QB, but he did lead Denver into the playoffs and won against the Steelers in the first round last year. I think Rex never wanted him on the team, so unless ownership forces him, I don't see it happening.
