01:24 PM ET 12.03 | Despite his recent struggles, Minnesota Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier reinforced his commitment to quarterback Christian Ponder after the Vikings 23-14 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday. Ponder went 12-for-25 with 119 yards passing, one touchdown and two interceptions. Ponder has struggled this season, particularly with Percy Harvin out of the lineup. Ponder has passed for under 200 yards six times this season.

An average quarterback will get the Vikings into the playoffs this year. Too bad they don't have one.

The Vikings have a great RB and an outstanding DE and that's about it.

Maybe they could re-sign Brett Favre.

I don't believe your allowed to use that kind of language on this site. Expect an e-mail from the censors.

Vikings committed to Ponder... what kind of season they may have had with any sort of consistency in getting their playmakers on the field.

They also get about a half-season of Percy Harvin.

The Vikings should ponder over their commitment to Ponder.

The Vikings blew it last year when they won a meaningless game against, ironically enough, the Redskins late in the season. Had they lost that game they'd have had the #2 pick and could have gotten RG3 or at least scored the draft picks in a trade. I guess because they'd just given so much money to Ponder the year before they might not have taken Griffin (or might not have gotten their pick to the podium in time!) but at least it would have been a possibility...

There defense is actually much, MUCH better than they get credit for. Anybody who watched that game Sunday can attest to that. They were in firm control until they tired out in the second half because of how inept Ponder is. They were on the field WAY too much. Granted, the defense isn't loaded with star players, but it's a really good unit when they're allowed to catch their breath. Peterson routinely carried them into the redzone Sunday, only to have Ponder turn the ball over twice. They also had another redzone opportunity called back because of a phantom roughing the passer call (I'm sorry, but there is a quarterback complaining about how bad of a call it was, it probably isn't a good one). It wouldn't have mattered, though. Ponder would have just thrown another pick or fumbled the ball.

They wouldn't have had that 2nd pick. They didn't hold the tie-breaker with either the Rams or the Colts. The win didn't matter.

They need to Ponder this before they make a commitment
