02:33 PM ET 12.03 | The Orlando Magic's win shocking over the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday night was fueled by Magic coach Jacque Vaughn's decision to have his players intentionally foul Dwight Howard in the third and fourth quarters. Howard hit just nine of his 21 free throws in the game, which justified Vaughn's decision. The tactic itself is regarded by many as being cheap, but the Magic coach defended his actions in a postgame interview. "I am a gentleman who believes in playing within the confines of the game," Vaughn said. "And I think that falls in line with playing in the confines of the game."

QUOTE(#5):

Why do you need to explain yourself? You did the right thing and even Pops does it. Any ways to win the game but legally is okay and don't need explanation. The other coach was just dumb enough to keep Howard in the game.

Completely agree. Players have strengths and weaknesses. As a coach you must exploit the oppositions weakness - and Dwight has one major weakness.
