02:58 PM ET 12.03 | The Detroit Lions are in a bind with their wide receiver situation, but don't expect them to turn to second-year receiver Titus Young. According to Brad Galli of WXYZ-TV, Schwartz said that Young will "not be part of the wide receiver mix," when it comes to setting the depth chart in the wake of Ryan Broyles' torn ACL. Schwartz followed that up by saying "He's not with the team right now." Young was asked not to come to Ford Field on Sunday, as the Lions lost to the Colts. He was benched for the final series in a loss to the Packers in November after he purposely lined up in the wrong spot on the field, and was sent home from practice the next day. He was deactivated for the Thanksgiving game against the Texans, as well.

Detroit is imploding worse than the Jets

Imploding, yes, but worse than the Jets?

"he purposely lined up in the wrong spot on the field." What a childish stunt! Leave him inactive so he doesn't get game checks. Cutting him would be a reward assuming he was able to sign on with another team.

Let's see, make millions or act the fool.

This team has problems beyond just this guy.

Sure - the Jets had far less distance to crumble.

QUOTE(#10):

Ay first I was thinking along the same line as Debbie, but I have to say I agree with you. No one outside of NY thought that the Jets would do anything but suck. The Lions however were pretty good last year and were expected to make the jump to contender/near contender status.

Jets could be the best team in football and Debbie would say they suck.......The New England contingent has to ridicule the Jets....because they would be suicidal if the Jets had their number like the Giants do...

Exactly!

I take more pleasure watching the thuggish, undisciplined Lions self-destruct than I do watching the clownish Jest fall apart.
