04:20 PM ET 12.03 | The college football regular season has come to a close, and awards and honors are beginning to be handed out. Today, the most prestigious college football conference in the land - the Southeastern Conference - had their All-Conference team unveiled by the Associated Press for the nation to see. The All-SEC team is loaded with talent from top to bottom and features many future NFL stars. One of the nice gestures from the conference was to include injured South Carolina running back Marcus Lattimore among the honorable mentions for the squad. Most prestigious?? Not in the CLASSROOM.... Semi-Educated Conference -- not especially known for their academics...

The SEC with schools such as Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn and Kentucky in basketball put a stain on the term "student athlete".
