04:23 PM ET 12.03 | Seattle Seahawks defensive back Richard Sherman's appeal hearing for a possible four-game suspension is scheduled for Dec. 14 which means the he will play against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 14, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.com. Sherman is facing a four-game suspension for supposedly violating the NFL's performance-enhancing drug policy but is claiming innocence. Sherman leads a Seattle secondary that is giving up just 202.8 yards in the air this season which ranks fifth in the league. Sherman had five tackles and a pass deflection in a 23-17 win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday. The win improved the Seahawks to 7-5 on the season, just one win behind the 8-3-1 San Francisco 49ers for first place in the NFC West division.

These guys better have a solid gold "get out of jail free" card because now their suspensions will go into the post-season (if Seattle can get there). If they don't beat the rap, or at least get the time reduced, Seattle probably wont make the playoffs.
