Dolphins No. 1 pick for sale

07:15 AM ET 01.24 | Dolphins General Manager Jeff Ireland might as well have put the No. 1 pick in this year's NFL draft on eBay. When asked by the NFL Network about the team's approach with the top selection, Ireland said: "We're open for business." Minutes later, he backed up his willingness to deal the pick by pointing out the 1-15 team he inherited has many needs. Unfortunately for the Dolphins this isn't a buyer's market.

They need players who can help the team immediately, and a #1 pick isn't always ready to contribute right away. If they can get a very effective roster player, or a star(ish) player for that pick, then they'll have already improved the team's roster. Its the right thing to do

If I was Jerry Jones, I would trade J. Jones, the two first round picks Dallas has in the draft, and go after McFadden. The only real need Dallas has, is to build depth at w.r., and O-line.
