Blake to miss 6-8 weeks

05:54 PM ET 12.03 | Already without Steve Nash, the Los Angeles Lakers have also lost their backup point guard for an extended period of time. The team announced that Steve Blake will miss 6-8 weeks after undergoing surgery for a torn abdomen muscle. Blake has played in just seven games this season after suffering the injury in early November. In his absence, youngster Darius Morris and veteran Chris Duhon will have to continue holding down the position.
