07:44 PM ET 12.03 | New Kentucky coach Mark Stoops is building his staff by pulling from his former one: Florida State's. He's taking defensive line coach D.J. Eliot, who's known as a strong recruiter and a reason for FSU having perhaps the country's best defensive end rotation entering 2012, as his new defensive coordinator.

EWO won't be happy hearing that. The state of Florida is a tough place to recruit.

No way around it. Losing Mark Stoops hurt our program.
That being said, I think the biggest thing FSU has to fear in recruiting the state of Florida, is the faster-than-expected rise of the gators. But Jimbo can do a little recruiting too, and as long as we win, we'll get our share of top recruits.
As for Stoops, himself, pulling recruits from us? Not very concerned about that. If Stoops can convince a kid that he'll be better of playing football at Kentucky than FSU, he can HAVE that kid.

Agreed. Kentucky isn't the problem. Losing two good recruiters is. If Trooper and Luper aren't given show-cause, you guys could probably hire them in a couple of months. :)

EWO, thanks for sharing. I think you guys will not be in such bad shape at all.
To the East side, we are coming to get ya, soon, in a stadium close to you.

Tin, if our players feel like I do - insulted - then I don't think we've got a thing to worry about.
NIU rises and falls with the play of dual-threat QB Jordan Lynch. We've already faced a much better dual-theat QB this season in Taj Boyd, of Clemson. Boyd has MUCH more dangerous weapons at his disposal than does Mr. Lynch, and we beat Clemson solidly.
Additionally, NIU has not faced a defense like ours. We've got 3 future first-rounders at DE, some studs at LB, and one of the best defensive backfields in the nation. The Huskies O-line should be finished by halftime. This game has the potential to get UGLY, and I don't see NIU beating us under ANY circumstances.
