Do Jets coaches think Tim Tebow's a bust?

06:42 AM ET 12.04 | Will Rex Ryan be ready to close the book on Mark Sanchez by going with Greg McElroy? Where does Tim Tebow figure in all this? Ryan had so many opportunities to use Tebow earlier in the season when Sanchez struggled and he refused to do so. Then, in the first game with McElroy as the backup, with Tebow out with broken ribs, he benched Sanchez. That is not a coincidence. It's clear the Jets coaches think Tebow really stinks. Ryan wouldn't even admit he would have benched Sanchez on Sunday if Tebow had been the No. 2 quarterback. Instead, he auditioned for "Dancing With the Stars," by sidestepping the question. "I don't want to get into the what-ifs and all that kind of stuff," he said. "The fact is Greg was the guy that was active."

Tired of the excuse that Sanchez is playing poorly because of Tebow being there. His QB rating (78 vs 71), INTs (13 vs 18), Fumb (10 vs 10), Comp % (56.7 vs 55) for 2011 and now are very close. Sanchez is just a lower end NFL QB.

Tebow may never be a great (or even very good) NFL QB, but he did lead Denver into the playoffs and won against the Steelers in the first round last year. I think Rex never wanted him on the team, so unless ownership forces him, I don't see it happening.

Instead, he (Rex) auditioned for "Dancing With the Stars,..."

That is one horrendous visual image.

Joe Montana at the height of his powers couldn't do much with that offense. The Jest need lots and lots of help.

I hear he has good footwork - at least with his wife.

But speaking of visual images...

I get to work early, so I can't stay up for night games. My practice is to go on the computer when I get up and go to NFL.com to check the results. I don't have to read a word. They always have a picture of the winner.

This morning, I was greeted by a smiling RG-III.

Hail to the Redskins!

The Jets are a bust. Tebow pawn in game of life.

So what, it was a team effort, and a bad defensive decision my Pitt.

Was a reply to your quote that he always sucked - which obviously he hasn't.

But, it took the Jets to confirm that. They've been doing that with quarterbacks lately.

He looks huge in the picture. If somebody could just convince him to play TE instead of trying to play QB he would probably last longer in the league.

My feeling is Tebow wasn't Rex's choice, the owner forced him on him. Rex will never play him, and can't trade him.
