08:53 AM ET 12.04 | Ryan Miller hopes he gets a chance to talk to six NHL owners Tuesday. It might give him a better idea of how the lockout will finally end. "I can't make sense of what the owners truly need because they want everything," the Buffalo Sabres' goaltender wrote Monday during an exchange of text messages. "That is why it seems like the finish line is moving." Miller is among a large group of players who will gather Tuesday in New York City when negotiations between the league and the NHL Players' Association resume. "I am really disappointed that no moderate owners have stopped the madness. Hopefully they will after the board of governors convene."

One of my friends is good friends with a Penguins trainer (I know how ridiculous this sounds) but apparantly they agreed to terms and are just waiting to break the news. The guys hasn't said anything like this all lockout. And I am not really holding my breath till its official

I knew it, I knew it, I knew it. I thought I saw you buying Red Wing socks at WalMart the other day! I only go there for intellectual pursuits myself. Shredders, manila folders, ball point pens.......stuff like that.

Both are correct...let the true majority on each side decide it. Regardless , do not time bomb us with only a 5 year deal.

Truer words were never spoken. To modify the song title to "Where has all the NHL hockey gone?" I simply ask "When will they ever learn, when will they ever learn?"

What about Canuck towels?

QUOTE(#5):

There was a report out of Boston's CBS affiliate last night saying something similar. Puck Daddy posted it, somebody else asked Daly about it and he denied it.

I'm actually hoping it's incorrect.

I have plans to paint my house instead of watching playoff hockey while my wife and son are in Europe.

And I really want to paint my house.

Good luck with that painting when the "Summit Gang " lands 30 minutes after Momma and Cub depart.

Exactly... But I concur, stop funding the madness, and they will have an even tinier pie to slice up.
