02:16 PM ET 12.04 | Jonathan Dwyer will remain the starter at running back in Week 14 for the Pittsburgh Steelers against the San Diego Chargers, head coach Mike Tomlin confirmed Tuesday. It is unclear whether Rashard Mendenhall will come off the bench, or remain a healthy scratch as he was last week against the Baltimore Ravens. "Rashard will get an opportunity to redeem himself at some point," Tomlin said. "Not now."

Tomlin is big on second chances. Look at how many times he sent Sweed back in. I'm sure he'd phrase it like "rebuilding men of quality" or "raising up your brothers in arms" or something.
Once Colbert puts you in the locker room, if you work hard, you will get opportunities. It's just a matter of time. Of course, it's on you to be ready when that chance comes, Coach can't play the downs for you.

Dwyer is terrible. There has to be a better back out there the Steelers can claim off waivers

Absolutely. He's the type of running back the Steelers like.
