05:19 PM ET 12.04 | Washington Redskins backup cornerback Cedric Griffin has been suspended four games for violating the league's policy of performance enhancing drugs, the NFL announced Tuesday via press release. Griffin reportedly tested positive for adderall. Griffin, a seven-year veteran, is listed on the Redskins' depth chart as the nickelback and backup to starter DeAngelo Halland Josh Wilson. This season, the 30-year-old corner has 33 tackles and a forced fumble. In the offseason, Griffin signed a one-year, $2.5 million deal with the Redskins after playing six season for the Minnesota Vikings.
