Baylor coach turns down SEC offers

LMFAO, just what "SEC power schools did he turn down", don't all the "power" teams in the SEC already have good coaches???? This article is just too funny!!! Baylor coach turns down "Arkansas, Tennessee, and Auburn"!!!!!!!!!

He didn't get an offer from Arky....doubt he did from Tenn or Aubie, either.

WPS, don't take any offense, but I was just commenting on the artilce. The headlines said Baylor coach turn down offers from SEC "power schools" and then in the story it said "Arkansas, Tennessee, and Auburn all requested to talk with Baylor's coach and he chose to remain at Baylor". IMO I wouldn't consider Arkansas, Tennessee, and Auburn to be SEC power football schools, at least not this year.

auburn and tennessee are certainly power schools... may be down today but with a coach either can compete for championships in 3 years maybe sooner..... You have to have 3 things in todays game to win:
1. Elite Coach
2. Money
3. Facilities/Fans

Auburn and TN both have checks in 2 of the 3 categories today

and just to point out a fact as I am now the intent internet follower of 3 UT coaching searches... The only person who knows who the vols have spoke with, considered, and offered is Dave Hart....

and 1 other thing, somebody from this coaching fraternity is gonna have to off nick saban and urban meyer, otherwise they are all waiting to be fired.... the bar is too high...

Arky's football record was 56-33 since 2006,,Tennessee's football record was 47-42 since 2006 and Auburn was 57-32 since 2006, compared to University of California at 51-39 since 2006!! If you want to call those three SEC schoolsl "power schoosl", then that is your opinion, but I sure in the hell wouldn't call Cal a 12 PAC "power football team"!!!!

While I still wonder what the NCAA is gonna find in their Aubie snooping, Aubie and Arky were good enough in recent enough timeframe to be able to recover with the right coach.

Also Oregon State was 53-36 since 2006 and I wouldn't call them a 12 PAC "power school"!!

I know, but if you read the front headlines of FN, you will see this "We've now seen coaches at Baylor and Vanderbilt turn down offers from SEC power schools. Has the world gone crazy" is this not part of the article, or is it just the Mods words???
