05:57 AM ET 12.05 | Remember when Dick Cheny shot that guy in the face? Well it turns out it's not just extreme right-wing politicians that can't shoot straight as even Hall of Fame baseball players occasionally miss their target too. While out hunting this offseason in Arizona, Chicago Cubs manager Dale Sveum was accidentally shot in the ear by friend and Hall of Famer Robin Yount. Apparently a quail flew out in front of Sveum, and Yount shot first and asked questions later. Amazingly, Sveum didn't get any stitches after being shot. But you better believe there were plenty of bad Dick Cheny-Robin Yount jokes had after the little hunting snafu. But let's not forget that Sveum was technically shot in the head and didn't even need stitches. When do the Dale Sveum-Chuck Norris comparisons begin?
