"I've heard that," Deron Williams says, cracking a smile. "At times, he likes to micro-manage the game." Don't let the revamped Nets roster or re-branding fool you, or even the anomaly that became Tuesday night's fast-paced, entertaining 117-111 defeat. This is Johnson's team. This is his system. It's his vision of a defense that has developed into one of the league's best, Tuesday's effort notwithstanding.

I don't think you can say that about him cos he led Dallas to the finals when no one expected them to get that far. I do agree with your point though. Unless he wins the whole thing he'd always have that stigma. He's done a good job so far given the fact that the team just got assembled.

Here we go... I was wondering how long it would take for the sports writers to start gaming players to make divisive remarks that end up causing dissension in the locker room. DERON,,, wasn't it you who is responsible for Jerry Sloan to quit? When are you going to shut your trap and just play ball!
