08:17 AM ET 12.05 | Believe it or not, Temple, at least publicly, doesn't see much difficulty in replacing Steve Addazio. After two seasons on North Broad Street, he accepted the head-coaching position at Boston College on Tuesday. "We were in a far different place when Steve Addazio came in, and we are in a farther place now since he's been there," Owls athletic director Bill Bradshaw said. "So we are optimistic. I've already been contacted by between 16 and 20 candidates." ... Bradshaw said maybe that is contributed to emails and voicemails. "But there were 16 to 20 candidates or representatives of those candidates that left a message to me already from current head coaches in Division I to offensive, defensive coordinators in the NFL," Bradshaw said.

Not much to this. Out of the 16-20, I was one of the people who showed interest in the job. I may have a chance though, since I offered a 5 yr/5M deal.

With Penn State in the dumps, Temple could do well in Pennsylvania but they need to get a big name like Tressel to accomplish it.
