08:16 AM ET 12.05 | Tuesday's 88-56 win over Samford won't save Kentucky from John Calipari. [The] 19th-ranked Cats (5-3) will commence daily 7 a.m. conditioning drills before classes -- and before afternoon practices. Because after racing out to a 45-14 halftime lead, Kentucky outscored Samford (2-8) by a single point in the second half. "I can't think of any other reason why you wouldn't come out in the second half and play," Calipari said, "so we have to chalk it up to they're not in shape. They will be." Calipari said the phrase "in shape" 14 times during his 10-minute postgame news conference. Star freshmen Nerlens Noel and Alex Poythress dominated the first half. ... In the second half, both guys vanished.

If The HairLine can keep his talent motivated, saw where he benched the C due to bad attitude at practice, and it got the kid's attention PDQ. Nice.

I was at the game, Young was a beast. A lot more hustle than normal. Billy also proved that Young was not needed for the Gators to be successful ala Wilbekin at the start of the year.

No longer worried about Young being in foul trouble.

I know, that is the one thing missing this year, oh well.

Experience coming off the bench. 0 starts returning says it all.
