08:18 AM ET 12.05 | The seat on which Gary Bettman sits, particularly if there's further positive movement in the lockout talks, may begin to heat up on Wednesday in New York. League sources told QMI Agency they expect Bettman to face pointed questions from some owners who have bitten their tongues long enough as the NHL lockout hits Day 81 Wednesday with an estimated $1.2 billion in lost revenues. "I would think the owners who haven't said anything are going to finally have their say after they get updated on where the discussions are at because nobody is happy where this is at," said a league insider Tuesday. ... "[If owner who isn't happy] stands up, then I think you could see a group of owners stand up to have their say." ... [Terry Pegula] could be a candidate.

Why would they take aim at Bettman? He wasn't the one voting 30-0 for a lockout, although i'm sure he appreciated it. Take aim at each other, smack some sense into yourselves and get this thing done.

Get Dolan to bring in some of his party girls and get some unfavorable pics of ButtMunch.

Why the picture of "Thanks Dad" Dolan? Are they going to hold this supposed owner pow wow at the Betty Ford Clinic?

I won't really believe this until it's confirmed by the Globe & Mail and the NY Post.

Could that 30-0 vote have been like partisan politics? Can't vote against the party line no matter what you think?

The majority of owners seemingly realizing the true power lies in their numbers , not those of the ultra hardliners.

The Enquirer is reporting some owners have been trained by Seal Team 6.

Think you are on to something here......

Owners may have softened their stance after trying to wait out the NHLPA. I cant imagine at this point Dolan is happy with where things are at esp. since he just wheeled in Nash hoping to get a sniff at the Cup.

Things change. I wouldnt be surprised if people on either side of this negotition have softened from their initial demands.

Good to see them re-discover the true power of democracy. One man=one vote (unless you live in Chicago of course). A little late to make much of a difference for this season but .... we'll take it.

I have a better idea. Lend him to a circus and shoot him out of the human cannon. Make sure it's aimed at a brick wall.

That's a great idea. It may not happen though. Even circuses have some standards about how they treat brick walls.

Hope they have their bazooka's aimed at him ;-)
