12:51 PM ET 12.05 | At his Wednesday press conference, New York Jets coach Rex Ryan stated that Tim Tebow, if healthy, would back up Mark Sanchez at quarterback. The Jets quarterback position was put in flux in Week 13 when Ryan benched Sanchez in favor of Greg McElroy, who was active as the backup with Tebow injured. Wednesday morning, Ryan said Sanchez would continue to be the starter as the Jets prepare to play Jacksonvillle in Week 14. Tebow, who was inactive last week, will be the backup as long as he is healthy. He suffered two broken ribs in the Week 10 loss to the Seahawks but played the next week. The Jets then put him on the shelf for past two games, and his status for this week is still up in the air.

Jets say Tebow is #2
I've been telling them that all year.
Honestly though, you know the interns have been saving that one up.

The Jets suck, period. It's not Tebow's fault.

Nobody, but the thread is necessary to fulfill the prophecy of Sargent Schultz.

There is something about a train wreck, or a 20 car pileup on the interstate: you know it is horrible, but you can't take your eyes off it.

4th quarter... Jets trail the Jags 3-0 and have the ball 1st down on their own 26... Sanchez sacked hard and is slow to his feet... Jets have to call timeout... On the sideline Tebow snaps on his helmet then races out onto the field... All 6,200 fans remaining in the stadium rise to their feet, look around, and think to themselves, "I used to have a life."
