12:56 PM ET 12.05 | Michael Vick has yet to pass concussion testing, Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid said Wednesday. It is unclear whether or not the quarterback will be able to clear NFL protocol before this Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Of course, Nick Foles will get the start regardless of Vick's status. The rookie has already been announced as the starter for the rest of the season, whether Vick is healthy or not. Foles went 22-for-34 passing for a career-high 251 yards and one touchdown during the Eagles' loss to the Dallas Cowboys last week.

Maybe Vick needs to start thinking about quitting this game while he still can think.

Vick won't quit - he needs the money. He is supporting his brother and who knows how many others with his salary.

I don't think there are too many tests this moron could pass....

Could be that Vick was never able to pass the concussion test...the team knew that so he never took one. Now that they can't hide it, he can't pass it. Probably never will. I've NEVER heard of a concussion taking a month to wear off.

Sydney Crosby of the Penguins. Concussion in Jan 2011, played first game in November 2011, played a couple of games and didn't practice until Jan 2012 because of concussion symptoms...

Didn't he aggravate the concussion in between those dates? That being said, even so I think the standards now compared to two years ago are much tougher to pass.

It's funny because there are still players who suffer a concussion and then get back out on the field to finish that same game.
Vick's case is an anomaly. I wouldn't really credit the quality of the tests.
