01:20 PM ET 12.05 | San Francisco 49ers rookie running back LaMichael James could make his NFL debut in Week 14. There has been talk since Sunday's loss versus the Rams that James might finally get to see some action. The high profile second-rounder from Oregon has yet to be activated in the regular season. But with Kendall Hunter (Achilles) going down for the season, there is room for James to make an impact.

It might be anticlimactic considering all the rain that is falling could make this into a "Mud Bowl ". I'm sure that Kaepernick will pass to James a lot coming out of the backfield- his 4.34 speed should get him some yards. He doesn't have the size to power his way through tight holes, he does have quick acceleration and is small enough that he hides well behind some of the big offensive linemen. Thats what he'd do at Oregon, he'd shadow himself behind a offensive lineman.
