01:28 PM ET 12.05 | The Green Bay Packers have reportedly signed their former running back, Ryan Grant, per Jason Wilde. The Packers have sustained injury in the backfield, losing Cedric Benson earlier in the season and now James Starks. This was a desperation move by the Packers, who needed to add depth to their lineup. Since Grant already knows the playbook, it was the best possible move the front office could have made under the circumstances.

How quickly they forget. He was their feature back a couple years ago when the Pack won the super bowl. Got hurt and lost his job. Now he's back because someone else is hurt.
