05:03 PM ET 12.05 | The Arizona Cardinals have announced that John Skelton will resume duties as the starting quarterback, beginning this week against the Seattle Seahawks. Skelton was named the starter in preseason after a battle with Kevin Kolb, then lost the job to Kolb after getting hurt in Week 1 against the Hawks. Skelton regained the job after Kolb went down with a rib injury and then was benched in favor of rookie Ryan Lindley after several ineffective starts. Even more ineffective was Lindley, throwing 0 TD and 5 INT in two starts. Arizona has lost eight straight games, is 32nd in the NFL in scoring at 15.5 points per game, and as a team have thrown 10 TD and 13 INT, 8 of those touchdowns coming from Kolb. Skelton is completing 54.7% of his passes with 2 TD and 5 INT in six games.

Just a wild guess but I bet the Cards will be looking for a QB very early in next April's draft.

I remember when Chicago had the same problem, good 'D' and a go nowhere 'O'

And to finish, you just can't win with a team that scores 6 points against the Jets for Godsakes.

It makes me wonder how they beat the Pats in Gillette earlier this season. How the tides of fortune have turned against them.

Skelton!! Lindley sucks!

I think that game was the epitomy of a blind squirrel finding a nut once in a while.

Skelton isn't the answer, but he can't possibly play worse than Lindley has the last two weeks.

When your offensive line is as bad as the Arizona Cardinals it doesn't really matter who your quarterback is.

Turrible

Skelton, Kolb and Lindley should all wear the same number and just trade places randomly between plays. It's not like it matters which of them is in there anyway.

That sounds like a plan, then the other teams wouldn't know who to prepair for and the Cards would start winning again

Or start playing 2 or 3 of them simultaneously

Or they might be better off if they just started punting on first down.

Vince Young is available. Can't be any worse.
