Cam Newton didn't make any friends at the Pro Bowl

06:47 PM ET 12.05 | Apparently, Cam Newton did not impress his fellow NFL players in Hawaii this past January, according to reports. Several "unnamed" players spoke out about their experience with then-rookie Newton didn't act like a very nice person - and that's the G-rated version. CBS Sports' Pete Prisco's says he saw the other five quarterbacks during the 2012 Pro-Bowl not be rushed, but defensive players from the AFC actually went after Cam. This, in the same game where players were booed for not giving any effort - a game which made headlines and questions lingered about whether or not there would even be a Pro Bowl in 2013. Newton was sacked once in that game. It was the only sack OF the game. Cam was flung to the turf in the third quarter by Antonio Smith of the Texans after one pass and the sack came on a spin-move by another rookie, Denver's Von Miller. He also reportedly turned down at least one request for an autograph from another player for him and his family - with kids. Through a team spokesman, Newton declined to comment for this story.

Last weekend he was doing superman poses for first downs when Carolina was losing. Pretty lame. I imagine that diva attitude didn't play well in Hawaii with the true veterans.
